P.M.Cochius, director of the Glasfabriek Leerdam from 1911-1933, was closely involved with the Krisnamurti-movement.
Krisnamurti was spiritual leader of "De Orde van de Ster in het Oosten".
By order of Cochius between 1928 en 1929 the so called Ster-souvenirs were made.
